Make a request for social media
A contact form is a staple Mallcomm feature that, with a little creativity, has no limitations to the role it can play within your app. For example, we love to see contact forms being used as a way for users to make social media request through the app! This simple modification allows you to engage your users, get creative content and boost your sales!
So how is it done?
Open the CMS. Go to Manage > Your centre > Manage your buttons
Then click on ‘Add new button’
Give your button: a name, an icon and a colour. Then, using the drop down menu, change your button type to ‘Contact Form’
Where the form asks 'Who should receive emails...', enter the email address for who should receive this content to then upload it onto Social Media
Add your introduction text (e.g. how you would like retailers to use this feature)
Using the drop down menu, change your form template to ‘Basic contact form’
Choose which parent button, if any, you would like this button to appear within. The parent buttons are those which appear on the first page of the app. Buttons within them appear once a user has tapped on the relevant parent button in the app
Choose the group of people who you would like to be able to see this feature e.g. Everyone or All Store Managers. This is referred to as an access level
Finally, consider whether you need to apply any of these additional settings. Then you are ready to click ‘Create'
When users submit a social media request using this feature, an email will be sent to the address entered at stage 4 and the attached image can be downloaded for use.
